# Spiral Painter vs Wallpapers +

The clearest difference is price: Wallpapers + at Free against Spiral Painter's $3.99. Wallpapers + also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (4.0 vs 3.8). Spiral Painter's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 38%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Wallpapers + is free to download; Spiral Painter costs $3.99 up front. Spiral Painter sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Wallpapers + asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wallpapers + holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wallpapers + has 98 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Spiral Painter's written reviews are positive against 38% of Wallpapers +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spiral Painter ships an update every 6 months, Wallpapers + every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
