# NYU Mobile vs Fordham Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Fordham Mobile at 3.0 against NYU Mobile's 2.4. NYU Mobile's advantage is update cadence (every 7 months vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (30 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fordham Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NYU Mobile has 30 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of NYU Mobile's written reviews are positive against 7% of Fordham Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NYU Mobile ships an update every 7 months, Fordham Mobile every 16 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
