# JRemote vs CashorTrade

The clearest difference is price: CashorTrade at Free against JRemote's $12.99. CashorTrade also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). JRemote's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

CashorTrade is free to download; JRemote costs $12.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CashorTrade holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CashorTrade has 6.9K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of JRemote's written reviews are positive against 47% of CashorTrade's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JRemote ships an update every 3 months, CashorTrade fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
