# Magical Finder vs 7

The clearest difference is ratings volume: 7 at 330 against Magical Finder's 1. 7 also leads on review sentiment (36% vs 15%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). Magical Finder's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Magical Finder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7 has 330 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Magical Finder's written reviews are positive against 36% of 7's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magical Finder ships an update every 9 months, 7 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
