# Magicbricks Property Search vs SocietyRun

The clearest difference is rating: SocietyRun at 4.7 against Magicbricks Property Search's 4.1. SocietyRun also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 20) and device support (3 vs 1). Magicbricks Property Search's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (800 vs 3). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magicbricks Property Search sells 19 one-off in-app purchases. SocietyRun asks for nothing beyond the download.

SocietyRun holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magicbricks Property Search has 800 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Magicbricks Property Search's written reviews are positive against 0% of SocietyRun's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
