# Taskboard vs Checklist

The clearest difference is rating: Taskboard at 4.2 against Checklist's 3.6. Taskboard also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 48%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). Checklist's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taskboard sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Checklist sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Taskboard holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 46 and 104 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of Taskboard's written reviews are positive against 48% of Checklist's.

Taskboard ships an update every 2 months, Checklist every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
