# Ekonom vs Blesk

The clearest difference is monetization model: Blesk at free with in-app purchases against Ekonom's subscription. Blesk also leads on ratings volume (18 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Ekonom's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ekonom sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Blesk sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ekonom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blesk has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ekonom ships an update every 2 months, Blesk every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
