# Calculator⁼ vs Calculator M+

The clearest difference is ads: Calculator M+ at none against Calculator⁼'s shown. Calculator M+ also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 36%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Calculator⁼'s advantage is ratings volume (359K vs 111). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calculator⁼ sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and Calculator M+ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Calculator⁼ against 4.5 for Calculator M+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator⁼ has 359K ratings behind it against 111, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 36% of Calculator⁼'s written reviews are positive against 64% of Calculator M+'s.

Calculator⁼ ships an update monthly, Calculator M+ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
