# 墨迹天气HD vs Weather Widget®

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 墨迹天气HD at none against Weather Widget®'s 11. 墨迹天气HD also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 81%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). Weather Widget®'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5.5K vs 40). On price, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weather Widget® sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. 墨迹天气HD asks for nothing beyond the download.

Weather Widget® holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather Widget® has 5.5K ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of 墨迹天气HD's written reviews are positive against 81% of Weather Widget®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on August 24, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
