# Dakar Rally vs WorldSBK

The clearest difference is rating: WorldSBK at 5.0 against Dakar Rally's 4.1. Dakar Rally's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (153 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorldSBK sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Dakar Rally asks for nothing beyond the download.

WorldSBK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dakar Rally has 153 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Dakar Rally's written reviews are positive against 5% of WorldSBK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dakar Rally ships an update every 4 weeks, WorldSBK every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
