# Dakar Rally vs ACTC

The clearest difference is ads: ACTC at none against Dakar Rally's shown. ACTC also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Dakar Rally's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 11 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dakar Rally ships an update every 4 weeks, ACTC every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
