# AHL vs PBA

The clearest difference is rating: PBA at 4.4 against AHL's 2.5. PBA also leads on review sentiment (33% vs 15%). AHL's advantage is ratings volume (194 vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PBA holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AHL has 194 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 15% of AHL's written reviews are positive against 33% of PBA's.

AHL ships an update every 4 months, PBA every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
