# AHL vs SPHL

The clearest difference is rating: SPHL at 4.4 against AHL's 2.5. AHL's advantage is ratings volume (194 vs 9) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SPHL holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AHL has 194 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AHL ships an update every 4 months, SPHL every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
