# AHL vs SHL Matchtracker

The clearest difference is rating: SHL Matchtracker at 5.0 against AHL's 2.5. SHL Matchtracker also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 4 months). AHL's advantage is ratings volume (194 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SHL Matchtracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AHL has 194 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AHL ships an update every 4 months, SHL Matchtracker every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
