# tz ePaper vs FNP ePaper

The clearest difference is rating: FNP ePaper at 5.0 against tz ePaper's 3.0. tz ePaper's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. tz ePaper sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and FNP ePaper sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FNP ePaper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of tz ePaper's written reviews are positive against 40% of FNP ePaper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
