# Bunk1 vs WinterKids

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bunk1 at 487 against WinterKids's 11. Bunk1 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). WinterKids's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WinterKids holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bunk1 has 487 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bunk1 ships an update every 2 months, WinterKids every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
