# TodoTest vs Nova SmartPhone

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TodoTest at 81% against Nova SmartPhone's 6%. TodoTest also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 11 months). Nova SmartPhone's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 14.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TodoTest sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Nova SmartPhone sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TodoTest holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TodoTest has 444 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of TodoTest's written reviews are positive against 6% of Nova SmartPhone's.

TodoTest ships an update every 3 weeks, Nova SmartPhone every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
