# BeyondTrust Support vs TotalAV

The clearest difference is rating: TotalAV at 4.6 against BeyondTrust Support's 3.1. TotalAV also leads on ratings volume (72K vs 54) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). BeyondTrust Support's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and review sentiment (41% vs 24%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TotalAV sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. BeyondTrust Support asks for nothing beyond the download.

TotalAV holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TotalAV has 72K ratings behind it against 54, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of BeyondTrust Support's written reviews are positive against 24% of TotalAV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BeyondTrust Support ships an update every 5 months, TotalAV every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
