# Finding Santa vs Santa Drop Express

The clearest difference is rating: Santa Drop Express at 4.6 against Finding Santa's 1.0. Santa Drop Express also leads on update cadence (every 6 months vs every 24 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). Finding Santa's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Santa Drop Express holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Santa Drop Express has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Finding Santa's written reviews are positive against 83% of Santa Drop Express's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Finding Santa ships an update every 24 months, Santa Drop Express every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
