# Netvue vs geeni

The clearest difference is rating: geeni at 4.8 against Netvue's 2.5. geeni also leads on ratings volume (437K vs 549). Netvue's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

geeni holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: geeni has 437K ratings behind it against 549, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Netvue's written reviews are positive against 26% of geeni's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
