# Clock vs ScrollGate

The clearest difference is ads: Clock at none against ScrollGate's shown. ScrollGate's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Clock ships an update every 4 months, ScrollGate every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
