# الراي vs Ajel

The clearest difference is rating: Ajel at 4.2 against الراي's 2.9. Ajel also leads on ratings volume (559 vs 18). الراي's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (44% vs 32%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ajel holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ajel has 559 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of الراي's written reviews are positive against 32% of Ajel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
