# Cotswold Life Magazine vs Computeractive

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Computeractive at 43% against Cotswold Life Magazine's 0%. Computeractive also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). Cotswold Life Magazine's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cotswold Life Magazine sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Computeractive sells 48 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cotswold Life Magazine holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Computeractive has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Cotswold Life Magazine's written reviews are positive against 43% of Computeractive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cotswold Life Magazine ships an update every 8 months, Computeractive every 16 months. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
