# iWindow vs VPN Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iWindow at 100% against VPN Pro's 33%. iWindow also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 13). VPN Pro's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Pro sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. iWindow asks for nothing beyond the download.

VPN Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Pro has 2.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of iWindow's written reviews are positive against 33% of VPN Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iWindow ships an update every 6 months, VPN Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
