# PanoPad vs QooCam 3

The clearest difference is rating: PanoPad at 4.0 against QooCam 3's 2.4. QooCam 3's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months) and review sentiment (60% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PanoPad holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QooCam 3 has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of PanoPad's written reviews are positive against 60% of QooCam 3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PanoPad ships an update every 8 months, QooCam 3 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
