# PGA Tour vs Range Reps

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Range Reps at 100% against PGA Tour's 18%. Range Reps also leads on ads (none vs shown). PGA Tour's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Range Reps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. PGA Tour asks for nothing beyond the download.

PGA Tour holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PGA Tour has 45K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of PGA Tour's written reviews are positive against 100% of Range Reps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PGA Tour ships an update weekly, Range Reps every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
