# Werdsmith vs Lexo Office

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lexo Office at none against Werdsmith's 7. Lexo Office also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Werdsmith's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Werdsmith sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Lexo Office asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lexo Office holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Werdsmith has 8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
