# Werdsmith vs GatherAll Cal

The clearest difference is monetization model: Werdsmith at freemium against GatherAll Cal's subscription. Werdsmith also leads on ratings volume (8.1K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). GatherAll Cal's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Werdsmith sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and GatherAll Cal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GatherAll Cal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Werdsmith has 8.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
