# Werdsmith vs SchedAI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SchedAI at none against Werdsmith's 7. SchedAI also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Werdsmith's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Werdsmith sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. SchedAI asks for nothing beyond the download.

SchedAI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Werdsmith has 8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Werdsmith ships an update fortnightly, SchedAI every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
