# Musyc vs Pepp

Musyc and Pepp both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 78% of Musyc's written reviews are positive against 29% of Pepp's. Musyc also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (83 vs 5). Pepp's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Musyc sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Pepp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Musyc against 4.6 for Pepp. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Musyc has 83 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
