# Custom Boards Elite vs Buzzlet

The clearest difference is rating: Buzzlet at 5.0 against Custom Boards Elite's 1.6. Buzzlet also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Custom Boards Elite's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Custom Boards Elite sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Buzzlet sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Buzzlet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Custom Boards Elite has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Custom Boards Elite ships an update every 7 months, Buzzlet every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
