# Australian Aviation vs Daylight

Australian Aviation and Daylight both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Daylight's written reviews are positive against 40% of Australian Aviation's. Daylight also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). Australian Aviation's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Australian Aviation sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Daylight asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for Australian Aviation against 4.0 for Daylight. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Australian Aviation has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 40% of Australian Aviation's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daylight's.

Australian Aviation ships an update every 3 months, Daylight every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
