# Luminos Map vs FingerSpan

The clearest difference is ads: FingerSpan at none against Luminos Map's shown. Luminos Map's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Luminos Map sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and FingerSpan sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
