# Hidden Grid vs ClaroPDF Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Hidden Grid at 5.0 against ClaroPDF Pro's 4.2. Hidden Grid also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 17) and price ($3.99 vs $9.99). ClaroPDF Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (48 vs 1). On review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Hidden Grid costs $3.99 and ClaroPDF Pro $9.99 up front. ClaroPDF Pro sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Hidden Grid asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hidden Grid holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClaroPDF Pro has 48 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Hidden Grid's written reviews are positive against 51% of ClaroPDF Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hidden Grid ships an update every 14 months, ClaroPDF Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
