# EON TV vs NetTV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EON TV at none against NetTV's 27. EON TV also leads on ratings volume (155 vs 21). NetTV's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (2.6 vs 2.3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NetTV sells 27 one-off in-app purchases. EON TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

NetTV holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EON TV has 155 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 15% and 15% positive.

EON TV ships an update every 6 weeks, NetTV every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
