# EON TV vs Balkaniyum

The clearest difference is update cadence: EON TV at every 6 weeks against Balkaniyum's every 4 months. Balkaniyum's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EON TV holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 155 and 80 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of EON TV's written reviews are positive against 23% of Balkaniyum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EON TV ships an update every 6 weeks, Balkaniyum every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
