# Symbol Pad Pro vs Computer Forums

The clearest difference is price: Computer Forums at Free against Symbol Pad Pro's $0.99. Computer Forums also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Symbol Pad Pro's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (115 vs 1). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Computer Forums is free to download; Symbol Pad Pro costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Symbol Pad Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Symbol Pad Pro has 115 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Symbol Pad Pro's written reviews are positive against 75% of Computer Forums's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Symbol Pad Pro ships an update every 2 months, Computer Forums every 9 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
