# Glow Drawings vs Draw Pad

Glow Drawings and Draw Pad both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 78% of Glow Drawings's written reviews are positive against 0% of Draw Pad's. Draw Pad's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Draw Pad holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 124 and 154 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Glow Drawings's written reviews are positive against 0% of Draw Pad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Glow Drawings ships an update every 11 months, Draw Pad fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
