# Pyramid Solitaire vs Solitaire Showtime

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pyramid Solitaire at 77% against Solitaire Showtime's 51%. Solitaire Showtime's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and ratings volume (50K vs 14K). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pyramid Solitaire sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Solitaire Showtime sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solitaire Showtime holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14K and 50K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Pyramid Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 51% of Solitaire Showtime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pyramid Solitaire ships an update every 3 months, Solitaire Showtime every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
