# Palm Reader vs Masjids

The clearest difference is rating: Masjids at 5.0 against Palm Reader's 4.3. Masjids also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). Palm Reader's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Palm Reader sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Masjids asks for nothing beyond the download.

Masjids holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Palm Reader has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Palm Reader ships an update every 2 weeks, Masjids every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
