# TROY vs TurfHunt

The clearest difference is rating: TurfHunt at 4.7 against TROY's 3.9. TurfHunt also leads on ratings volume (393 vs 17) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). TROY's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 47%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TurfHunt holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TurfHunt has 393 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of TROY's written reviews are positive against 47% of TurfHunt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TROY ships an update every 8 months, TurfHunt every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
