# Bansko vs TaxiMe Client

Bansko and TaxiMe Client both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Bansko's written reviews are positive against 53% of TaxiMe Client's. TaxiMe Client's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 11). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bansko sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. TaxiMe Client asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Bansko against 4.8 for TaxiMe Client. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaxiMe Client has 1.5K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Bansko's written reviews are positive against 53% of TaxiMe Client's.

Bansko ships an update monthly, TaxiMe Client fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on June 9, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
