# iFlightPlanner vs Visibility Tool

The clearest difference is price: iFlightPlanner at Free against Visibility Tool's $9.99. iFlightPlanner also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 50%) and ratings volume (95 vs 1). Visibility Tool's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

iFlightPlanner is free to download; Visibility Tool costs $9.99 up front. iFlightPlanner sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Visibility Tool asks for nothing beyond the download.

Visibility Tool holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iFlightPlanner has 95 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of iFlightPlanner's written reviews are positive against 50% of Visibility Tool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iFlightPlanner ships an update every 3 months, Visibility Tool every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
