# The CW vs PEW

The clearest difference is price: The CW at Free against PEW's $0.99. The CW also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). PEW's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.2) and ads (none vs shown). On in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

The CW is free to download; PEW costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PEW holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The CW has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
