# Timity vs Perspective

The clearest difference is rating: Timity at 4.8 against Perspective's 3.4. Timity also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Perspective's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perspective sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Timity asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timity holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 26 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Timity's written reviews are positive against 71% of Perspective's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timity ships an update every 6 weeks, Perspective every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 5, 2026 and August 25, 2026 respectively.
