# Convert Images vs The Vector Converter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Convert Images at none against The Vector Converter's 6. Convert Images also leads on review sentiment (30% vs 22%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). The Vector Converter's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Vector Converter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Convert Images asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Vector Converter holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Vector Converter has 4.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Convert Images's written reviews are positive against 22% of The Vector Converter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Convert Images ships an update every 13 months, The Vector Converter every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
