# Game Buzzer Free vs Weekend Games

The clearest difference is rating: Weekend Games at 4.5 against Game Buzzer Free's 2.5. Weekend Games also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (8.4K vs 54). Game Buzzer Free's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (41% vs 30%). On price, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weekend Games sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Game Buzzer Free asks for nothing beyond the download.

Weekend Games holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weekend Games has 8.4K ratings behind it against 54, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Game Buzzer Free's written reviews are positive against 30% of Weekend Games's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
