# TEFview vs Tabs & Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TEFview at 91% against Tabs & Notes's 40%. TEFview also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Tabs & Notes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tabs & Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. TEFview asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tabs & Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TEFview has 303 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of TEFview's written reviews are positive against 40% of Tabs & Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
