# GIG vs Fanney

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fanney at every 6 days against GIG's every 2 weeks. Fanney also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GIG ships an update every 2 weeks, Fanney every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
