# Drumgenius vs GuitarTech

The clearest difference is rating: GuitarTech at 5.0 against Drumgenius's 4.5. GuitarTech also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%). Drumgenius's advantage is ratings volume (234 vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drumgenius sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and GuitarTech sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GuitarTech holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5.
